This version of Aliens vs. Marines is a virtual board game, not a video game. It does not run the game for you. It is more like a sandbox on which to play. You have to know the rules and how to manipulate the virtual board. These video tutorials were made by the designer to walk you through how everything works.

Designer's Notes
Since working with the designers of the Aliens Versus Predator & Terminator Collectable Card Games back in the day, I have always wanted to create a miniatures game that featured the iconic Colonial Marines and xenomorphs from the Aliens movie. Over the years, many other designers and publishers have tried to do the same, but I never felt they had the game play I wanted--so instead I designed my own game. After playtesting the tabletop version for years with my friends and family, I decided to improve my web development skills and make a version that is playable online in a browser. It uses only HTML, CSS, and Javascript with help from JQuery. I hope other Aliens fans enjoy playing it as much as I do. --Bobby Goodman III
